Chimfule Safari Lodge is a privately owned and operated safari game lodge and is situated adjacent to the South Luangwa National Park in Zambia, just 4 kilometers from Mfuwe International Airport.
Bordering the Luangwa river, it is surrounded by one of the least spoilt wilderness areas and possibly the finest wildlife sanctuary in Africa.
The plains of the Luangwa river valley host huge concentrations of game including the Big 5, Elephant, Buffalo, Leopard, Lion and Rhino. Also in abundance is giraffe, hippo, crocodile, wild dog, the puku, various antelope species and 400 hundred species of birds.
Shimfule Safari Lodge boasts 7 chalets, a self contained 3 bedroom executive chalet with self catering facilities and satellite TV, a refreshing swimming pool, 2 bars, an a-la-carte restaurant, a conference center and a private lake.
The Lodge is well equipped to cater for the varying needs of up to 50 people at a time.
